Good quality ice cream. Great service.
**I’m editing my review because the owner is UNREAL. This persons replies back to negative reviews are insane. Most ice cream was empty or looked melted. I personally didn’t get any because of that but my two kids insisted so I bought them each A SCOOP which was $14. The staffs body language acted as if they were bothered by us being there, (every negative comment has been spot on with this) After several negative reviews from a multitude of people saying the same thing, you’d think someone would take into account that maybe it’s true. I don’t like giving negative reviews but if I feel very poorly about an experience, I’ll share it.
Got recommended to come here for the homemade ice cream, I had a scoop of Avocado and a scoop of eggnog, both delicious!!
Ice cream was smooth and yummy price a bit steep.choices moderate. Service pleasant.
The staff didn’t even smile when we walked in.... we were the only customers they had. They just seemed bothered so we walked out and went to St Simon Sweet Shop; they are awesome!
Tiny spot, with big flavor optionsIf you stop in and the line is out the door, don't panic. Very few people can fit inside. But do join the line if you want big ice cream flavors.I had a key lime pie cup that was loaded with sweet and tart key lime flavor, with some Graham cracker crust crumbles included. After prying a spoon from my wife's locked fist, a taste of her butter pecan and banana pudding scoops also had great flavor and a silky-smooth consistency -- no ice crystals like some places that don't hold their ice cream at proper temperatures. We found that mid-afternoon is the best time to visit, with time to taste without holding up an angry, hot mob.
Great ice cream and a killer lemon sorbet
Yummy! Caramel Turtle is the best caramel ice cream I've ever had!
Very basic shop, but very good ice cream.
Good Ice Cream Decent flavor options. The two young staff members were nice enough, but essentially just there to scoop and serve. Cleanliness was a bit rough. Covid protocols were effectively in place. Outdoor seating not clean either. But the ice cream was pretty good.
Poor sign placement caused us to miss it the first time, but the next day we found it and it was worth the effort to find. Delicious.
Ice cream was awesome. They did a great job to maintain social distancing. We had coconut almond fudge which was awesome. Chocolate on chocolate was my favorite and the kids loved Superman!
Wow! A must visit place for ice cream on the island.
I had the fireball inspired ice cream and it was a bit melted. The teenage staff seemed a bit disingenuous to my wife and I for an ice cream shop. I was bit surprised as this was one of the top rated ice cream places in St. Simons. As a business owner myself, I’d recommend more streamlined training and implementation of a checklist system. This place has potential!
Bad, terrible attitude.. I wouldn’t go back again...
It was kind of busy but was totally worth the wait! The ice cream was amazing! Definitely don’t be intimidated by the line because they are only allowing one group in at a time. We probably waited 30 min at most one day. But we loved it so much we went back 3 times! P.S. the waffle cones are delicious!
Eh. Pricey, small scoops. They say 24 flavors but the most popular flavors were down to the bottom of the barrel and looked melted. Young staff acted like they dreaded being there. Once was enough.
Delicious ice cream with great outdoor seating. It’s a fun place to bike or walk to after a day at the beach.
Nice little ice cream shop. Lots of flavors and toppings. Seating is outside but covered.
This place is awesome! Our kid loved it so much, we ended up going 4 times in one week! We suggest the banana pudding ice cream and the sea turtle ice cream!
Great homemade ice cream
Something really cold and refreshing on a hot day!
Our pup loooved the doggy ice cream! We went here because our friends who’d also recently vacationed on the island recommended it to us and we are so glad we went.
Great selection of products. I started dealing with this business this year. I enjoy there service and they are always on time. I recommend
Great little locally owned shop right off the main drag at the pier with uniquely refreshing flavors of smooth creamy ice cream. Try the "honey lavender" in a big old waffle cone.
Great ice cream on a stormy evening.
Really great ice cream. I tried one of the homemade flavors and it didn't disappoint. All of the ice cream the family ordered was great and fresh (no freezer burn taste). Price is a little steep but expected due to location.
We visit frequently and love it! I usually stick with traditional chocolate, but they have some pretty unique flavors. Recently tried the Key Lime Pie and it was really good! Sometimes there can be a long line, but that's part of being on a small island with lots of tourists.
Good, but expensive and a very little scoop of ice cream in the cone.
Expensive but the ice cream was amazing. In fact, the cinnamon ice cream was so good, we made multiple trips in which our group got only cinnamon ice cream.
Good ice-cream, the staff were incompetent with social distancing they yelled at my sister and didn't make sure people kept there distance. The customers were leaning over her shoulder and they weren't wearing mask. High risk for covid-19.
Awful service, ice cream was sour, didn’t have milk, and manager was quite rude
Great homemade ice cream. I had bourbon caramel pecan and it was super good!
Fantastic service, wonderful ice cream and sorbet. Highly recommend.
Overpriced. Unfriendly workers. Don’t waste your time or money. Poor selection. And definitely not 24 flavors when we were there.
Small ice cream shop...they have the typical flavors as well as some unique ones like goat cheese w/ strawberry or vanilla w/ real candy bacon. I got the peach flavor w/ real peaches in it. Pretty good. Friendly service. Seating is outside
Be prepared for a loooooonnngggg wait with a short line. Their COVID policy is questionable at best. If my kids weren’t drooling I would have left.
Best ice cream best flavors best staff
Have not found a flavor I have not liked so far. The kids beg to go back.
Wonderful place to get a frozen treat after a day in the Village or at the beach.
Great local ice cream shop. Good variety of flavors and tasted great. Would definitely recommend for a nice cool down spot or treat after dinner.
Had the Hawaiian and banana pudding. Was good ice cream but nothing out of the ordinary special. I would say equal to Baskin Robbins or bruesters. There wasn't as much variety or odd flavors as what I was expecting. We went when there wasn't anyone there, so no wait...which we were glad. It was around 3:30 on a Tuesday.
Moo Cow is generally a great place. It’s wheelchair accessible, half the menu changes (because it’s homemade) and all the flavours are amazing. If they made it a chain the quality would probably go down, but just making a second shop would make the locals go crazy for more!
Awesome ice cream!
the ice cream was a delicacy with a beautiful creamy consistency. the soda was fine with a hint of spice on the lowkey. the only complaint i had was they ran of milk which is a bad thing for milkshakes which was why i came into the shop for. have a good day and except a fun experience in this shack. the staffs attitude was ok. the ice cream melted extremely quickly and it was cool out considering it just rained
Friendly staff. Great ice cream
Amazing ice cream!Went there in the evening during a lightning storm. It was raining but we decided to have ice cream for dinner, so we drove there. There's not a lot of parking available, so that was a little tricky. The ice cream was fresh and delicious, the scoops are very generous- 2 scoops is almost too much. The ice cream was smooth and had perfect texture. Really enjoyed our ice cream dinner 🙂
I can’t get enough. Best ice cream on Saint Simons Island, GA.
It sure was a nice place to go bc first time ever being there yum yum sounds like Ice cream time yay Happy 4th of July
Long line but good ice cream
